We are Sandown Properties Ltd, a lettings agency which specialises in long term rentals and holiday lets in the Trearddur Bay and surrounding areas. As a local company, we are at hand 24/7 throughout your stay should there be any problems. You can contact us at any time and we will deal with any concerns swiftly and effectively. We have a small team of dedicated service providers who are on call should any problems arise. We will welcome you to your property by ensuring it is warm and welcoming with a welcome folder providing detailed information about the property and the surrounding areas.
No. We request a 20% deposit of the total rental cost at the time of booking to secure your booking. The balance of the holiday is then due 8 weeks before your arrival date. Once the balance payment has been received, we will issue you with arrival instructions and everything you will need to know about your stay.
We understand that there will be occasions where you may need to alter or cancel your holiday. Please speak with us about any concerns. We adopt a flexible cancellation policy:
• 100% refund if cancelled within 24 hours of booking (provided the stay is at least 60 days away)
• 50% refund (minus £10 admin charge) if cancelled at least 8 weeks before check in
• 25% refund (minus £10 admin charge) if cancelled at least 4 weeks before check in
• No refund if cancelled less than 4 weeks before check in
The majority of our properties do allow pets, however please check the property listing carefully first as there are some restrictions at a couple of our managed lets. In most instances this is due to allergy reasons. Browse our pet-friendly properties.
Our official check in time is 4.00pm for all our holiday properties and check out is 10.00am. This is because there are often guests leaving the day of your arrival and we need time to clean and prepare the property. Please check with us the day before your arrival whether an earlier check in will be possible and we will try our best to get you in as early as possible.
Please check the property listing carefully. Nearly half of our holiday properties will require you to bring your own towels. Bedding is provided in all our holiday properties. Properties that include towels will have this listed in their features.
No, this is included in the cost of your rental.
Yes! WiFi is standard in all our properties. Please be advised we are on a small island and fibre optic and high speed broadband is still not available in some areas, though coverage is improving all the time.
Hopefully you won’t! But if you have any concerns please advise us as soon as possible as it may be something we can very easily fix. There is very little we can do once your holiday has come to an end. On the reverse side of your guest welcome letter at the property is a dedicated space for you to write any small maintenance issues and we work tirelessly to fix these as they arise.
