AUGUST 2026
23 August — Tour de Môn
Holyhead
This is one I’d definitely advertise to guests.
The cycling sportive has 46-mile, 77-mile and 106-mile routes, plus a shorter family route. The 106-mile route circles the island and the event starts/finishes in Holyhead.
For your property: Potentially excellent for weekend bookings because cyclists may come with partners/family and need accommodation around the event.

29 August — Holy Island Heritage Fair Holyhead Breakwater Country Park 10am–4pm — FREE A very good family event, with medieval re-enactments, archaeology, traditional crafts, coracle demonstrations, archery, face painting, clay modelling and heritage displays.
There are also separate activities at Breakwater Country Park that day, including:
- Dry-stone walling
- Green woodworking
- Foraging
- Geology walk
For your property: This is particularly easy to recommend to families staying in Trearddur Bay because it’s so close to Holyhead.

SEPTEMBER 2026
5 September — Coastal Nature Walk
Traeth Lligwy
Guided coastal/nature walk, 9:30am–12pm, taking in the beach, coast path and surrounding countryside.
⸻
September — Trac Môn / Anglesey Circuit Anglesey Circuit, near Rhosneigr This is one I’d keep an eye on when filling your calendar. Visit Anglesey describes the circuit as having something happening most weeks, including racing and track days.
It’s particularly relevant for your property because motorsport participants and spectators often need accommodation for a whole weekend.
I’d check the circuit’s own calendar before advertising individual September dates, as these can change.
