Anglesey has a thriving food scene with everything from beachside cafés to award-winning restaurants. Here are some of our favourite places to eat near our holiday homes.
Beaches
Trearddur Bay has its own beautiful sandy beach, perfect for swimming, kayaking and rock pooling. Other nearby beaches include Rhoscolyn, Porth Dafarch and Silver Bay — all within a short drive.
Walking & Cycling
The Anglesey Coastal Path runs for 125 miles around the entire island, offering spectacular views at every turn. Many sections are accessible directly from our properties. For cycling, there are quiet lanes and dedicated trails suitable for all abilities.
Historic Sites
Anglesey is rich in history, from the ancient burial chamber at Bryn Celli Ddu to the medieval Beaumaris Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The island also has numerous standing stones, holy wells and Iron Age settlements.
Wildlife & Nature
The island is home to a remarkable variety of wildlife. South Stack Cliffs near Holyhead is famous for its puffin colony and chough population. Seals can often be spotted along the coastline, and dolphins are regular visitors to the surrounding waters.
